Bursting with juicy fruit and antioxidants, this Pomegranate Sangria features our Pepperberry Shiraz. Perfect for entertaining, this jug mocktail recipe will be a hit.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup blueberries, fresh or thawed
- 1 sliced orange
- 1/2 sliced grapefruit
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (optional)
- 1 bottle ALTINA Pepperberry Shiraz
- 2 cups pomegranate juice
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- Optional garnishes: berries, pomegranate arils, cinnamon sticks
Method
Place blueberries, orange, grapefruit and optional maple syrup into a pitcher or small punch bowl. Muddle the fruit until the blueberries have burst and the juices are released.
Add the Pepperberry Shiraz, pomegranate juice, orange juice and 2 cinnamon sticks. Stir to combine, then place in the fridge for at least an hour (around 4-5 hours is best).
Serve over ice and garnish with berries, pomegranate arils and cinnamon sticks.
