You Walk Out the Door of Your High Paying Corporate Job for the Last Time
This is the day I put our life savings and my family’s future on the line.
Why? To chase a dream. To give the world something I thought we desperately needed. To make a change in our community and society.
I walked out those doors for the last time and into the unknown.
That was 5 years ago. Was it worth it?
1000%.
I built a lab in my kitchen. I had no idea about building a company, selling drinks or the number of hats I'd have to wear. But that didn't matter at the time.
Because it was all about community. We spent our time talking to people - ex-colleague, friends, random people in the street. Before we had launched, we'd built a community of hundreds of people who were at least a little bit inspired by our vision: to change the way Aussies drink.
Over the last 5 years, that's the thing that's kept us going. It's been the hardest of times to start a business, but to see the thousands of customers we're helping every single day keeps us going.
To know we're able to make an impact on peoples lives, to see that we've got one of the highest customer loyalty rates of all non-alc. brands in the big bottleshops, to see people coming back over and over again.
