These are the faces of 2 people who had just handed over 80% of their life savings to lease and fit out this warehouse (we were 6 months pregnant), so we could change the way Aussies drink.
We started on our kitchen bench, with a dream and a (very, very loose) idea. The incredible support from our local community gave us the inspiration to take a leap of faith.
We rented a tiny corner of someone else's distillery and producing our drinks every waking hour (working 16 hour days, just to make enough to keep up with demand).
They kicked us out and we had to find somewhere to go, and after months of to and fro, handed over a wad of cash as bond on this place.
That was 4 years ago.
Now, we produce hundreds of thousands of bottles a year and send them to homes and retailers all around the country (we still don't have any life savings though, ha).
